Weird means odd, different from the rest, unusual, abnormal, or strange. Following Jesus should make us weird - not just in a good way, but in a God way.
Most people base how they live and the choices they make on what everyone else is doing. Most people try to be normal and fit in. It’s weird to not do what everyone else does.
We will often have to choose between pleasing people or pleasing God. To be a follower of Jesus, we can’t do both. Jesus wants us to obey God even if it’s unpopular or sounds crazy. Not caring what people think because you are more interested in pleasing God is weird.
Ezekiel did some really weird things. But he was just doing what God told him to do. If you decide to be weird like Ezekiel, God may show you weird things and ask you to do or say weird things. When you choose to obey, you’ll be pointing others to Jesus.
